Student Employment

Student Employees are a critical element in the ongoing, successful operation of the D.P. Culp University Center. Without their skills and efforts, the facility and its services would not be available for the 120+ hours each week that it currently operates. Our employees fulfill many critical and necessary roles each day ranging from greeting visitors in the front office to answering calls to setting up camera stations to taking ID BUCs deposits to creating bulletin boards to responding to emergency situations. They are considered a true part of the staff of the office.

We consider employment within the D.P. Culp University Center to be a part of their college experience. It is not only a way to earn much-needed funds but also a part of their education experience. To make this experience the most worthwhile and profitable for them, we have designed a comprehensive program of training experiences and other learning opportunities. The goal of these is to not only give them the skills necessary to perform their specific duties within the University Center but also gain life long skills and experience that will pay benefits in their future careers.

We have a many types of positions with a wide variety of schedules and responsibilities. All students are encouraged to check with us on the positions available and to leave an application on file with us.

Applications may be picked up in the office or downloaded from our forms tab.
