Summer and Winter Advisory Committee

Reports to:	Dean, School of Continuing Studies and Academic Outreach
Charge:	The Summer and Winter Sessions Advisory Committee will provide recommendations to the School of Continuing Studies and Academic Outreach on strategies to improve the operation of ETSU's Summer and Winter Sessions. The overarching goal of the Advisory Committee is to examine and promote plans that will increase the size and effectiveness of each session while maintaining the entrepreneurial context in which these sessions operate. These items will include but are not limited to the following: Optimum calendar for each session Marketing strategies and opportunities Providing colleges the data they need for effective decision making Improving campus student services to allow for easy registration and fee payment Identifying ETSU policies that create obstacles for Summer and Winter Session enrollment and student success dentifying new summer audiences and programs to boost enrollment. The Summer and Winter Session Advisory Committee will meet quarterly, or as needed, beginning in Fall 2012.
