Dr. Eddy is an assistant professor of American politics and public administration. He received his Ph.D in political science from the University of South Carolina. His research interests broadly include public opinion, bureaucratic governance, and policy implementation, with a particular focus on the substantive areas of representation, participatory bureaucracy, and environmental policy. Specifically,  he examines how the inclusion of members from historically marginalized groups within public organizations impacts citizen evaluations of agencies, client-agency interactions, and bureaucratic outcomes.

Dr. Eddy has taught both introductory and specialized courses in American politics and public administration, including American Political Parties, Public Opinion, Introduction to American Politics, and Introduction to Public Administration.
