Dr. Jennifer Locander joined the faculty at East Tennessee State University as an Assistant Professor of Marketing in 2021. She earned a PhD in Marketing from the University of Mississippi, an MBA from Loyola University in New Orleans, and a BA in Marketing from Jacksonville University. Jennifer teaches undergraduate and graduate-level marketing courses, including Marketing Principles, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing Analytics, Search Marketing, and Customer Relationship Management. Her research focuses on the contextual influences of motivation and behavior in consumer, frontline employee, and salesperson contexts. Her research is published in the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Marketing Behavior. Jennifer is an active member of the Academy of Marketing Science, American Marketing Association, and Society for Marketing Advances.
