Add on Endorsement

Teachers who currently hold a valid Tennessee teaching license may add on an endorsement in the following areas:

• Special Education: High Incidence Disabilities, Graduate Certificate
  
  • This program is designed for individuals seeking add-on licensure in or wanting to enhance their knowledge of High Incidence Disabilities. This program mirrors the add-on requirements while also earning a certificate. Students should follow the Entrance and Exit Requirements on the add-on sheet if earning an add-on. All applicable course credits can be transferred into the Special Education Master’s program if admitted.
• Special Education: Low Incidence Disabilities, Graduate Certificate
  
  • This program is designed for individuals seeking add-on licensure in Comprehensive Special Education or wanting to enhance their knowledge of Low Incidence Disabilities. This program mirrors the add-on requirements while also earning a certificate. Students should follow the Entrance and Exit Requirements on the add-on sheet if earning an add-on. All applicable course credits can be transferred into the Special Education Master’s program if admitted.
