Bucs Empowering Scholars for Tomorrow, a component of the Multicultural Center Student Access and Success support services, provides a transformative and holistic network of academic supports and programs on campus. All of our programs and initiatives are free and empower students to be self-directed, engaged, lifelong learners and leaders within a diverse and inclusive campus.

Qualifications
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior at ETSU
- In good academic standing (3.0 cumulative GPA)
- Involved with activities and/or student organizations at ETSU
Requirements
- Complete the Form and reference form by July 25
- Meet face-to-face or via phone or text with Peer Mentee twice per month, text and email per week
- Attend meetings with the Mentoring Coordinator
- Attend all important evets below
Important dates for mandatory attendance
Fall 2024
- Submit the Form and reference form by July 25
- Quest for Success and BEST Mentors move-in: Satuday and Sunday, August 17-18
- Attend Quest for Success Leaders Orientation: Sunday, August 18, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- Attend Multicultural Matriculation Ceremony: Tuesday, August 22, 2:00 pm at Culp Auditorium
- Attend BEST Mentees and Mentors at Preview with light refreshments: Wednesday, August 23 at 3:00 pm at Brooks Gym Quad.
- Attend Equity and Inclusion Conference: Student Track: Saturday, September 30
- All BEST Mentors and Mentees Midterm Meeting, Monday to Friday, October 2 to 9
- Attend MCC Student Leadership Seminars.
Spring 2024
- New Mentees and Mentors Orientation: Sunday, January 14, 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Meet with your Mentee and Peer/Faculty or Staff or Alumni Mentor
- All Mentors and Mentees Midterm Meeting, Monday to Friday, February 19 to 26
- Attend MCC Leadership through Academic Seminars
- Attend MCC and other cultural events
