The ETSU Counseling Center is offering an open house and other resources for anyone in the campus community impacted by the regional flooding.
An open house/drop-in event will run from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, in suite 326 on the 3rd floor of the D.P. Culp Student Center. The event offers a supportive space for all students, faculty and staff, with additional counselors available for one-on-one conversations.
The Counseling Center will also provide emergency drop-in sessions during its operating hours from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Those needing support after hours can call the BucsPress2 helpline, a 24-hour mental health line that provides free, confidential counseling over the phone for ETSU students.
For the rest of the semester, the Counseling Center offers the ‘Let’s Talk’ program, which holds first-come, first-serve drop-in sessions for students to come talk about anything on their minds. A full schedule can be found here.
