Reserve a Visitor Space
Visitor Parking - Reserved Spaces Guidelines
The visitor parking reserved spaces ensure when possible that official visitors to ETSU are provided with a parking space free of charge in one of two designated locations (either in lot 31 or on South Dossett Drive near its intersection with Beller Drive). There are a total of six available spaces with there being three at each location. Individual spaces will be reserved using a printed document insert to be provided by Parking Services upon reservation confirmation.
These reserved spaces are for visitors and are not to be used to reserve a parking space for faculty, staff or students of ETSU. Violators will be subject to having their reservation privileges revoked for the remainder of the academic year or longer as decided by the Parking, Pedestrian, & Traffic Advisory Committee.
Departments must submit a reservation request through Parking Services. A valid departmental email address must send the required information for the reservation request.
Reservations must be made by 3:00 p.m. on the last working day prior to the scheduled visit. Spaces are not guaranteed and are based on availability and need. Confirmation must be received before a reservation is complete. If a reservation is unable to be granted, then a visitor permit must be obtained and the visitor must park in a non-reserved faculty/staff or student space and abide by the rules associated with a visitor permit.
Requesting department will receive a confirmation email that will contain a visitor permit for their guest as well as a document that the department must print and place in the sign to claim it for their guest.
Cancellations must be communicated to Parking Services via email.
Parking citations will be issued to visitors if a space has not been reserved in advance.
The reservation form must be completed and submitted with the request. Please note that a reservation form must be completed for each visitor for whom a department is requesting a space reservation.
