How to Understand Your Financial Aid Offer
How to Accept Your Financial Aid Offer
-
How do I contact my financial aid counselor?
You may call, email, or set up an in-person or Zoom appointment with your financial aid counselor here.
-
What does the Estimated Cost of Attendance box on my award notification mean?
This estimate is required by the Department of Education (ED). The estimate does not represent what you will pay ETSU. The estimate represents an overall picture of college-going costs used by ED to determine how much financial aid you qualify for. The individual student’s expenses will vary based on their personal circumstances.
-
How can I get a personalized estimate of my specific costs?
Use ETSU’s Tuition & Fees Estimator. Select the classes you plan to take to get an idea of your estimated tuition* and course fees. Use the estimator to add your residence hall and meal plan if you will live on campus.
-
How can I learn more about each type of aid being offered?
You can review the Financial Aid Award Notice page. You may call, email, or set up an in-person or Zoom appointment with your financial aid counselor here.
