The Gray Fossil Site & Museum offers a variety of research and funding opportunities
for current and prospective students.
We work closely with the department of Geosciences to support students in the undergraduate
and graduate paleontology concentrations. Student research is encouraged at all levels.
Students are also employed in technical positions throughout the museum as Graduate
Assistants, Federal Work Study, and temporary summer staff.

Every year we accept students into the paleontology concentration of the ETSU Geosciences (M.S.) program. With faculty strengths in fossil mammals, our program emphasizes close mentorship and hands-on experiences at the Gray Fossil Site.
