Key Club Week

Key Club:  We have a very important meeting on Wednesday, November 3rd, after school.  There are multiple volunteer events this month.  We also have social activities to play.

This is a national celebration of Key Club and its goals and mission: Key Club Week gives you the opportunity to show your school and community what Key Club is truly about: Service. Each day places an emphasis on service, to promote Key Club within our homes, schools and communities and to make Key Club a household name. The following are themes for each day next week! Let's spread the word about Key Club!

Monday

Show your K!

Show people what Key Club is all about! Spread the word by wearing Key Club gear (t-shirts, membership pins) and publicizing Key Club Week in the school, on your school website— even on a door. Decorate the door of your advisor, to spread awareness about Key Club. Tell other students about Key Club and recruit new members! Make sure to tag #keyclubweek in your stories, feed, etc. 

Tuesday

Kudos to the key players!

Personally thank all the Key Club supporters you know as well as school staff— officers, teachers, members, advisors and other key players. Write thank-you notes, or do something uniquely your own style to recognize the contributions of these special people. 

Wednesday

Dare to Share!

Celebrate diversity and equity with the Key Club family. We have members across the globe, and we want to spotlight you! Check out your Instagram story for a GIPHY sticker you can share to show what makes you and your club shine.

Thursday

Random acts of Kindness!

A smile goes a long way. Spread happiness throughout your school by implementing little random acts of kindness, such as leaving cards with inspirational messages on every student’s locker or just simply holding the door for someone else. We can use these posters to hang up around your school and community. Post a picture with the hashtag #KeyClubWeek, and our club might win some cool Key Club stickers!

Friday

Connect the Ks!

Key Club is the largest high school service organization in the world and is a member of the Kiwanis family. Celebrate the entire family of Kiwanis by getting the whole gang involved. Let's Connect with our local Kiwanis Club by sending a card with notes from our Key Club members to them to thank them for sponsoring us! I will have cards in my room, in Ms. Summey's room, and in the office for you to drop by and sign.
