University Middle School students (current grades, 5-6-7) have the opportunity to
play middle school football through a co-op with Washington County middle schools
feeding Daniel Boone. If you are interested in this opportunity, please use the information
below.
-Spring Practice starts Monday, May 8th. It’s at Daniel Boone High School from 5:30
to 7:00. Students can still participate the remainder of this week.
-Spring Practice is not a tryout. As long as players want to be on the team and abide
by Washington County Athletic Policy they are on the team.
-Players are competing for a starting spot and playing time. There are no minimum
playing time requirements. The best players will be on the field.
-We will not be in pads or helmets for spring practice. Wear t-shirt, shorts, and
cleats/turf shoes.
-Players need to have a physical on file with their school or they need to bring one
to coach prior to participating.
-There will be a parent meeting immediately following practice on Monday. I will do
my best to answer all questions you have and let you know what is coming up this summer.
