Congratulations to Cooper Onks and Lucy Smith, who individually qualified for the State Middle School Cross-Country meet in Nashville at the TMSAA Upper East Sectional meet on September 20th in Greeneville. Both runners delivered fantastic performances, with Lucy placing 9th in a time of 14:28 and Cooper placing 5th in a time of 12:58. Cooper continued his string of top finishes by placing 4th in a separate regional meet in Gray on October 8th, which individually qualified Cooper for an additional State Middle School Cross-Country meet in Knoxville. University School is extremely proud of the accomplishments of these two very dedicated athletes!
