Student Assessment of Instruction
The SAI, or Student Assessment of Instruction, is a survey that allows students to evaluate their instructors and courses at the end of each term. In fall 2013, ETSU began administering the SAIs online through a service called CoursEval. Students and instructors will receive an email from the CoursEval system (no-reply@courseval.net) announcing the opening of the surveys. Emails to students will include a list of surveys to complete. You should have one survey for each course in which you are enrolled. All emails sent from the CoursEval system will include a link to the site where you can complete the survey. Your ETSU username and password should be used to log into the site.
Both the Tennessee Board of Regents and ETSU require all faculty members with teaching assignments to participate in SAIs. Faculty members will not have access to results until at least two days after the deadline for submitting final grades has passed. Results for course sections with less than 5 students will not be made available.
