We are excited to announce the State of Tennessee has increased the HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship.
The award is now $4,500 for freshmen and sophomores and
$5,700 for juniors and seniors at four-year institutions.
The State's changes to the HOPE Scholarship mean big benefits for qualifying students at ETSU!
The HOPE award for qualifying freshmen and sophomores is now $4500 per year. At ETSU, that covers nearly half of annual in-state tuition! The award for juniors and seniors is $5700 per year.
- Admitted students who have received a financial aid package should check their GoldLink to review how their financial aid package may have changed, if they qualify for the HOPE Scholarship (view eligibility requirements at the link below).
- Admitted students who have not received a financial aid package yet should be sure they have completed the FAFSA and selected ETSU as a recipient institution for their FAFSA information. The FAFSA is required for consideration for the HOPE Scholarship (view eligibility requirements at the link below).
- If you have an incomplete application to ETSU, now is the time to submit it!
- Prospective students for future years: The application for admission to ETSU for Fall 2023 opens on July 1.
