We empower students by providing services for personal and academic success, and encourage
students to live and learn deliberately. We provide safe spaces in which to discuss
goals, develop critical thinking skills, and plan for the future beyond graduation.
In the Center for Advisement and Student Excellence, we value respect, intellectual inquiry, integrity, growth, and collaboration among students, advisors, faculty, and administrators.
The Center for Advisement and Student Excellence works with majors in the College of Arts and Sciences and students pursuing admission to professional school in health care fields. We meet with students to discuss academic and personal goals, create degree plans, and build important relationships. Click here to learn more.
We also house a peer outreach program, TeleBucs, and Positive Academic Coaching and Empowerment (PACE) academic coaching.
Assistant Dean for Student Success
Welcome to the Center for Advisement and Student Excellence (CASE). As you make the transition from high school or your transfer college to ETSU, you have the support of eight full-time Academic Advisors and two Medical Professions Advisement Counselors. Through a combination of guided activities, individual meetings, workshops and seminars our advisors and counselors will both challenge and support you as you reflect on your academic and career plans. They will talk you through the processes of navigating the hundreds of decisions you make as a college student, a professional school applicant and future professional in the world of work.
We look forward to working with each of you learning about your aspirations and watching you grow into strong, thoughtful, curious and ethical citizens and leaders in the ETSU campus community.
