Brief Bio
David Ginn, MD is Professor of Medicine at East Tennessee State University's Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Ginn earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Dr. Ginn has often been recognized for his teaching by both students and peers. He was recipient of the annual Students' Teaching Recognition Award on three separate occasions as well as the 2010-2011 Holston Valley Medical Center's Faculty Excellence Teaching Award.
Dr. Ginn is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Executive Committee of the Sullivan County Medical Society. He has published the results of his medical research in peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Medicine and the Southern Medical Journal.
