The Honors College at ETSU encourages students to pursue internships as a means to demonstrate career readiness by developing valuable professional competencies such as teamwork, communication, self-direction, resilience, and intercultural understanding, among others. Honors students in all majors regularly participate in internships locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Honors College staff, additionally, regularly assist students in finding and applying for internships.
