The Data Analytics job family is responsible for providing data and analysis to support evaluation, research, assessment, strategic planning, and management decisions.

Roles

Data Entry Associate Responsible for performing general data entry support tasks by following established policies and procedures. Competencies for this role are usually gained through specialized or on-the-job training.

Data Analyst Responsible for data analytics. This position may supervise the work of others; however, this is secondary to the primary function of the role. Competencies for this role are usually gained through formal education, specialized training, and/or experience in a program or specialty area specific to the position responsibilities. Specialized and progressively responsible experience is required as the level increases.

Data Analytics Management Responsible for data analytics leadership, direction, training, and operational management of a department, division, college, institute, campus, or university wide. Provides strategic expertise and guidance on a broad cross-section of data analytics functions. This role accomplishes goals through overseeing the areas of responsibility, planning, managing resources, prioritizing, and directing the responsibilities of employees.
