Students STRONG
Students Supporting Trauma Responsive Organizations: Nurturing Growth (Students STRONG)
Students STRONG is committed to expanding awareness and advancing the empirical study of Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) while promoting the implementation and sustainability of trauma-responsive practices.
Through exposure to empirical research, recurring discussions, and specialized training, student members gain a deeper understanding of how childhood experiences impact health and well-being across the lifespan. By engaging in the dissemination and implementation of trauma-responsive practices, they collaborate with the campus and surrounding community to transform policies, procedures, and philosophies—fostering individual and community resilience.
