ID Services has developed a plan for online students who never come to campus to receive
your ETSU ID.
Library Services
Sherrod Library provides access to library services and collections for all students,
faculty, and staff involved in courses taken outside of Johnson City (including online
courses). Just follow this link and use your valid ETSU email name to login to access
articles, request books, or receive personal help from a librarian: https://libraries.etsu.edu/use/distance.
Tutoring
ETSU's Center for Academic Achievement provides students with access to resources
and various online tutoring opportunities through The Learning blog at cfaalearning.etsu.edu
- you can also follow them now on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. While tutoring is
available for undergraduate courses only, graduate students are encouraged to bring
research papers and PowerPoint presentations to the center to gain feedback. This
can be accomplished remotely as well.
Personal Counseling
The Counseling Center provides short term personal counseling, evaluation, referral,
and consultation services.
ETSU University Catalog
Access undergraduate and graduate catalogs, both current and archived. These include
information such as course descriptions, programs, costs, degree requirements, policies
and procedures.
Student Health Services
Contact the Student Health Clinic for any medical assistance that you may need on
campus.
Student Help Desk
Contact the Help Desk if you are having trouble logging in to D2L, changing your password,
viewing a video in your online course, or any other technical problem you might have.

D2L Help
You can find answers to many of your D2L how-to questions on this website: https://www.etsu.edu/d2l/students/. If you are still having trouble finding what you need, contact the Student Help
Desk.
eMail
Your eMail account is your official ETSU email address. university policy states that
you must use this address as your official point of contact. You are responsible for
the messages sent here. Your email address is username@etsu.edu and you can access
your messages by going to https://webmail.etsu.edu/. Contact the Student Help Desk if you need any help with your password (it can be
different from your ETSU password.)
Microsoft Office
Microsoft Office 365 is the official email service provider for students. The email
address for students is [studentusername]@etsu.edu. Students should log in to Microsoft Office 365 using the new email address and the existing ETSU password. This account replaces
the Goldmail account as the official email channel for students. Please visit the
Office 365 website for more information.
Password Reset
You can select the Password Reset link located beneath the D2L login fields or access
the page directly at: https://www.etsu.edu/activate. The ITS Help Desk (itshelp@etsu.edu) can assist you if you are having trouble resetting
the password or have been locked out of your account.
