THE UNIVERSITY ADVISEMENT CENTER HAS MOVED. WE ARE NOW LOCATED IN THE SHERROD LIBRARY ON THE THIRD FLOOR IN ROOM 355.
WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY ADVISEMENT CENTER (UAC)
AT EAST TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY!
The University Advisement Center (UAC) is located on the third floor of the Sherrod Library in Room 355 and is staffed by Academic Counselors, Graduate Assistants and a Records Coordinator. We provide academic advisement and guidance to Undeclared Majors and students required to complete Learning Support. Students who are only required to complete Learning Support Math should see their major advisor. For more information, please click the Learning Support tab on the left column of the page.
University policy encourages all students with 60 hours or more to declare a major. All undeclared students with more than 60 hours are asked to schedule an appointment with an advisor as soon as possible to discuss career and academic options.

Our mission in the University Advisement Center (UAC) is to provide high quality academic, career and personal counseling to those students who have not declared a specific major and to those who require Learning Support. Our focus on all aspects of student life makes it possible to assist the student in the accomplishment of academic success, enhancement of personal development goals and effective management of the stresses related to academic life.
The IOIF Grant has allowed the UAC to purchase an institutional membership with Innovative Educators. This membership gives ETSU employees access to over 100 on-demand trainings and over 150 live webinars during the year. Each person will need to create a profile and will be able to access these professional development trainings. To access the on-demand trainings, click here. To sign up for Live Webinars, please contact Stacy Onks or Jillian Alexander.
