Financial Aid Process—6 Easy Steps

Step 1: Fill out your Scholarship Application

In order to be eligible for an Institutional Scholarship you must also complete the FAFSA.  The scholarship application deadline is May 12th.

Step 2:  Create a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID)

To be able to apply for financial aid and sign your application electronically, you will need an FSA username and password. To establish a username and password from the Department of Education you must apply online. Your FSA ID serves as your electronic signature and provides access to your personal records.

Step 3:  FAFSA Application

Use the Free Application for Federal Aid form. Include the ETSU College of Pharmacy school code E01254.

Step 4:  Complete Entrance Counseling & Sign MPNs for Professional Students

*Incoming P1 students, please wait to complete Step 4 until you have returned your signed award letter accepting student loans.

Step 5:  Complete Federal Aid Prior Balances Authorization

Step 6:  Set up your Direct Deposit Account
