Current residents submitting reapplication for next year should not submit a new $100 deposit. Your existing deposit follows you for as long as you live on campus.

- Housing & Residence Staff will be available for questions at a table outside the Dining Hall at various times, February 10th to 14th.
Buc Ridge Reapplication
- Reapplication will be available to all Buc Ridge residents in their Residence portal only during the specified period, Monday, 2/10 9:00am to Thursday 2/13 9:00am.
- Buc Ridge Reapplication will provide the option to prioritize four (different) apartment
style choices, including:
- Stay in My Same Apartment Style
- 2-Bedroom, 2-Person Unit
- 2-Bedroom, 4-Person Quad Unit
- 1-Bedroom
- Efficiency
- If none of my selected preferences are available, please assign me to any available Buc Ridge housing.
- All residents who complete this reapplication will be assigned to Buc Ridge for 2025-2026. *Buc Ridge residents only requesting to move to a Residence Hall for 2025-2026, should wait to complete the Residence Hall Reapplication the following week (see below).
- Residents will receive notice of their Buc Ridge assignment before the Residence Hall Reapplication opens on 2/17. Residents not able to obtain any of their requested apartment styles may also take part in the Residence Hall Reapplication process the following week (see below).
Residence Hall Reapplication
- Reapplication will be available to all residents in their Residence portal only during the specified period, Monday, 2/17 9:00am to Thursday 2/20 9:00am.
- Residence Hall Reapplication will provide the option to prioritize four (different)
housing choices, including:
- Stay in My Same Building
- Buc Ridge 2-Bedroom, 4-Person Quad Unit
- Centennial Hall
- Davis Apartments
- Luntsford Apartments
- Carter Hall (Honors LLC)
- Powell Hall (Esports LLC)
- Dossett Hall (Music LLC)
- Governors Hall
- West Hall (Co-Ed, Triples)
- Stone Hall
- Clement Hall
- If none of my selected preferences are available, please assign me to any available on-campus housing.
- Completing a reapplication is not a guarantee of assignment, or specific assignment to any particular community or with any requested roommate.
- Due to limited space in on-campus housing, reapplications submitted late in the process or selecting only one building preference are less likely to receive an assignment and would be placed on a Stand-By List.
- Reapplication will not allow for requesting a Private room as Private room requests will not be granted during this process.
Roommate Requests
- If you have someone you would like to live with for the 2025-2026 academic year, make sure to indicate their name and E# (required) on the Reapplication. Make sure your friend does the same, as the request has to be mutual.
- Roommate requests are not guaranteed.
When Residents Can Expect to Hear About Room Assignment Status
- The Housing Assignments team will be manually making room assignments from 2/10 to 3/21. Students can expect to receive email communication regarding their room assignment status by March 21, 2025.
- Upon receipt of their room assignment, residents must enter the Residence portal to confirm the Agreement within 3 days.
- Once the Agreement is signed, you are contractually obligated to live on campus for the duration of the 2025-2026 academic year (both Fall and Spring semesters), unless you submit the 2025-2026 Request to Cancel Housing/Dining Agreements Form by June 1, 2025.
Rates
- Please be advised that due to increased costs in utilities, maintenance, staffing, renovations, and food, there will be an increase in the housing/dining rates for 2025/2026. The proposed housing/dining rates for the upcoming academic year will be voted on this semester by the ETSU Board of Trustees and we will share the 2025-2026 rates once they are available. - Be advised that all students living on campus, with the exception of Buc Ridge, are enrolled in the 7-Day Silver Meal Plan. After living on campus for four semesters, students have the option to reduce to either the 5-Day Anytime or 7-Day Anytime Limited 15 plans. Eligible students must complete the Request to Change Meal Plan Form, which will be available on our website in late-March, at the conclusion of the reapplication process.
- Students assigned to Buc Ridge will receive information about how to apply for an optional anytime or block meal plan in early Summer.
Summer 2025
- Sign-Ups for Summer 2025 will occur in April 2025.
Not Returning to On-Campus Housing for 2025-2026?
- Residents who already know they are not returning to on-campus housing for 2025-2026, due to graduation, moving off-campus, etc., please let us know as soon as possible by completing a Deposit Refund Form. Deposit Refunds are processed 6-8 weeks after the end of Spring semester. We appreciate you for living on campus this semester, and we wish you the very best in the future.
