TECTA Education
Upon completion of the 30-hour Orientation students become eligible to receive financial assistance to enroll in CDA preparation courses at a community college. Along with financial assistance, students also receive technical support to fulfill the remaining requirements to apply for the CDA Credential. For further information about the CDA see The Council for Professional Recognition.
Upon completion of the CDA preparation courses, students will have 12 credit hours toward an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited TBR institution. The TECTA Career Lattice illustrates how each step builds upon each other allowing the student to gradually reach his/her educational goal.
