The Center of Excellence in STEM Education was started by Dr. Jack Rhoton in 2005. Since then, the Center has grown to serve as the lead of the NE TN STEM Innovation Hub, to include many more partners and programs, and to support regional educators in STEM with many state and federal grants. The Center is overseen by three ETSU Colleges; Clemmer College, College of Arts and Science, and College of Business and Technology.
