These scholarships cover the cost of participation and housing at TWC’s Residential and Academic Facility—a $1,095 value—ensuring that financial barriers won’t stand in your way.
Workforce Exploration (November 2024): Perfect for those exploring different career paths, this program offers a deep dive into the current job market and strategies for success.
Career Launch Bootcamp (December 2024 & March 2025): Designed for recent graduates or those nearing graduation, this bootcamp focuses on helping you confidently tackle job applications and interviews, with a toolkit that will set you apart in your job search.

Launch a Career You Love
East Tennessee State University, in partnership with The Washington Center for Academic Seminars and Internships (TWC), offers students the opportunity to participate in semester-long internships in Washington D.C. This program offers students real world work experience, professional development, and tremendous networking opportunities.
During the fall, spring, or summer term you will live at TWC's Residential and Academic Facility (RAF)in Washington D.C., participate in an intensive, substantive internship, take part
in top notch professional development activities, enroll in an academic seminar course,
and participate in networking and other social and activities.
The RAF apartments are fully furnished and equipped and consist of two bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a kitchen and living room. Each apartment normally houses four interns. The RAF is located in D.C.'s NoMA neighborhood, which is within walking distance of Union Station and Capitol Hill as well as several shops, restaurants, museums, and grocery stores.
