Opportunities for Faculty
There are also opportunities for ETSU faculty to get involved with The Washington Center.
At a number of times throughout the year, The Washington Center hosts standalone academic seminars one- to two-week long intensive academic experiences that combine access to well-known speakers from the political world, behind-the-scenes views of key D.C. sites, and small group-style discussions with students. Faculty Leaders, from colleges and universities across the country, are hired to serve as advisors and mentors during the program attending all program sessions, accompanying students on site visits, leading the small group discussions, and reading and evaluating students completed assignments.
