How to Add xForms

There are two reasons to create an xForm in IRB Manager

  1. You are beginning a new study.
  2. You are adding on to an existing study, for example:
    • Submitting a modification.
    • Submitting a continuing review.
    • Closing a study.

Note: to begin a new study, you must have OneAegis (formerly IRBManager) training. Contact IRB@etsu.edu to obtain training and a username and password for the system. 

Beginning a New Study:

  • Select appropriate xForm:
    • If you are doing your study through ETSU, pick "New Protocol Submission"
    • If you are doing your study through the VA, pick "VA Investigators Only"

  • Complete your form, sign, and submit. 

Adding xForms to an Existing Study:

 

  • Log into OneAegis (formerly IRBManager), and select the study you would like to add a form to from "My Studies"

  • Choose "Start xForm" under actions.
