Submitting your study electronically

OneAegis (formerly IRBManager)

The ETSU IRB department uses OneAegis (formerly IRBManager), a web-based program designed specifically for the IRB review process, to facilitate review and approval.  Investigators submit their IRB application and documents electronically in OneAegis and can track submitted items in the system and know, step-by-step, where their study is in the IRB process.  This allows investigators and the IRB to quickly submit, communicate about, and approve the necessary forms throughout your research study.

Accessing/Using the OneAegis (formerly IRBManager) system

New Users:  Before you can begin using OneAegis, you will need to get a login and go through a brief training session.  Here's how to get started:

1. Submit a Request for Log-in Form (New! Dynamic Form). 
2. When the IRB office receives it, we will contact you via email to schedule a brief zoom or phone training. Your username and password will be provided at that time.
3. Upon completion of the training, you will be ready to use the OneAegis system.

Note: For large groups such as entire classes, the IRB staff is willing and able to offer group OneAegis training if organized in advance. All trainees will need to have an individual computer or laptop to fully participate in the group training. Contact the IRB office if interested in group training.
