Computer Replacement
2025 Computer Replacement Options
There are several options for faculty and staff who qualify for a computer replacement.
Employees and departments may choose from Dell desktop and laptop configurations,
Apple iMac or Mac Studio configurations, or a MacBook Pro configuration.
Please be aware that the Dell desktop computer Level 1 base model is the only computer fully funded through the Computer Replacement initiative. All Apple computers and any Dell desktop or laptop computer with a cost above $1,005 will result in a departmental charge equal to the difference between the Level 1 base cost and the cost of the upgrade selected. Please contact ITS with questions. Because of fluctuating market conditions, prices may vary from those listed below without notice.
NOTE: Adjunct Faculty, Auxiliary Services, Family Practice personnel, Athletics, persons with a secondary assignment, medical residents, positions funded by restricted accounts, student workers, and graduate assistants are NOT eligible for computer funding through this project. Eligibility of Facilities employees will be evaluated on an individual basis, based on job requirements. Exceptions are not granted.
