Job Family Concept
The Development and Alumni Relations job family is responsible for advancing the university by soliciting, collecting and tracking donations from a variety of sources, as well as researching and cultivating potential donars.
Roles
Development and Alumni Relations AssociateResponsible for accurately entering, managing, and verifying data related to gifts and pledges in the Advancement database. Evaluates gifts for correct fund allocation, performs financial adjustments, and ensures compliance and completeness in documentation. Collaborates with internal and external constituencies to maintain an up-to-date and reliable database, supporting the integrity of donor and alumni information. |
Development and Alumni Relations Program SupportResponsible for providing support for programming, activities, events, and office functions. Coordinates with internal and external partners to publicize programs, recruit participants, and plan events and activities. Creates and disseminates program communications and posts program information on social media platforms. Ensures operations adhere to the program budget. Implements fundraising campaigns for the program. Oversees participants and students involved in the program. Evaluates and monitors projects according to policies and objectives. Coordinates the collection and analysis of data for reporting. Prepares and submits reports. Manages program databases. |
Development and Alumni Relations ProfessionalResponsible for providing leadership, direction, training, and management for activities, resources, strategic fundraising, event planning and operations. Provides strategic expertise and guidance, and has increased accountability. This role accomplishes goals through overseeing their areas of responsibility, planning, managing resources, prioritizing, and directing the responsibilities of employees. |
Development and Alumni Relations ManagementResponsible for the administrative leadership, direction, training, and operational management of development and alumni relations efforts.
