Sarah Bedingfield
Sarah was born and raised in Kingsport, TN. She attended Tennessee Technological University for an undergrad in Accounting, but later transferred to ETSU to pursue Sociology, where she finished with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2004. She returned to the Master’s of Counseling program at ETSU in 2008 and graduated with a Master’s in both Higher Education and Community Agency Counseling. Sarah began her career with Frontier Health, and in the process completed LPC licensure and also became an approved clinical supervisor. Since doing both internships with the ETSU counseling center, Sarah has always vowed to try to make her way back, and she finally did! She resides in Kingsport with her partner, Brandon, and their two daughters, Layla (4) and Elise (8). They have two dogs, Gracie and Bennie, and a cat named Georgie. She sings and has a background in musical theater, loves to be involved in service opportunities, and enjoys vacationing with family in Pawley’s Island, SC, and anywhere else they can find to have an adventure together.
