The JCCHC is a state-of-the-art facility on par with any of its kind in the United
States. Funded by a generous grant from the U.S. Department of Health Resources and
Services Administration, it was built through the vision of leaders at ETSU, the College
of Nursing and the College of Health Sciences, all of whom are dedicated to providing
access to basic health care services for all in our community and region.
The Johnson City Downtown Day Center Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center
and teaching facility that provides Primary Care and Behavioral Health services to
the community.
The Johnson City Downtown Day Center serves the most vulnerable population in our
community, the homeless. The Day Center provides a safe place to keep out of the elements
during the day, mail services, showers, washer/dryers, primary care and mental health
services, and connects patients with community resources.
