Please be aware the GOLDMAIL email addresses are no longer valid for creating an account on Imleagues. All email addresses must either be @etsu.edu or @mail.etsu.edu. Students with current Imleagues accounts using their GOLDMAIL email address can update their emails by going to their account account page in the upper right hand corner.
The Department of Campus Recreation offers its students and employees a comprehensive individual and team intramural program. Intramurals are structured recreational and competitive sports and activities for individuals in the ETSU community. Competitions and activities are held in league, tournament, meet, and race format. Previous athletic experience is not a prerequisite for intramural participation.
Three different leagues are generally offered each semester. Flag football, volleyball and soccer are offered during the fall semester. Basketball, softball and a 4-on-4 flag football passing league are offered during the spring semester. Leagues for kickball, dodgeball, inner tube water polo, and ultimate frisbee have been added to the schedule. In addition to the team sports leagues, a number of individual and special events are held throughout the year.
The Intramural program is administered by the Assistant Director for Intramurals and Sport Clubs, two graduate assistants, and student workers who serve in the capacity of game officials, game supervisors, and scorekeepers.

Who is eligible to play intramurals?
Currently enrolled ETSU Students, faculty and staff (w/ Basler CPA access) are eligible to participate in intramurals. Spouse, Domestic Partner, and Dependent members are not eligible to participate. Participants must register for each sport prior to the specified deadline and present their valid ETSU ID card at the beginning of every game. How do I sign up to play intramurals?
In the Fall of 2008, ETSU was one of the first intramural program in the country to transition to Imleagues, a new online registration/scheduling system. Imleagues is a website specifically designed for college intramural departments. A few of Imleagues' features include online sign up and scheduling, customizable team and group pages, message boards, and much more. When will my games be?
Games can be scheduled anytime between 4pm – 11pm Sunday – Thursday. Each day is broken into two sessions, an early (4-8) and a late (6-11) session. When a team registers for a league, they get to select the division (based on availability) that corresponds to the day and session that would like to participate in. There are usually 3-4 divisions offered for each league.
How do I work as an official or program assistant?
The intramural program is always looking for students interested in working as intramural officials or program assistants. We accept APS, Federal Work Study and Regular Work Study applicants. We also accept applications from students who do not fall into a work study category. To apply, turn in a completed application ATTN: Adam Knobloch) at the CPA front desk.
